The following letter from LEONARD V. HARRISON was written after the Conference
and was not included in the material mailed to Delegates
Mr Harrison is a Class A Trustee and a former Chairman of the Board.

Dear Herb:

I had an opportunity to comment on Bill W.'s Recommendations during the recent Conference in late April. That will serve the purpose of a letter.

To summarize one point I may say that:

  1. I favor a General Service Board of Trustees, composed entirely of AA members. If desired by them, I would favor an Advisory Council of non-alcoholic members with the rights of participation at meetings of the Board but without vote.
  2. Class A Trustees could be defined as those who have served 2 years with 2 years yet to go. Class B Trustees as those who have not filled 2 years of service.

Very sincerely,
Leonard V. Harrison
