Print on Demand is a professional service. The book authors, editors, designers and artists have made their material available for free. You can download the books formatted for desktop, laptop, tablet, or eBook reader for free.
But if you want a book to hold in your hand you have two choices. Buy a printer, paper and ink, then spend the time to print out the book at home. Or pay people to produce a printed version. No one goes out and chops down trees, grind to the pulp, make paper, brew ink, buy a press and hire the pressmen to run it, buy the bindery equipment to bind and trim the book, someone to package, address and ship the individual copies of the book.
That last option is what we now call "Print On Demand". The Twelve and Twelve says "The worker is worthy of his hire" when it is work people are normally paid to do. Print on Demand is a separate company that allows you to get a PDF converted to a hard copy, real world, printed book you can hold in your hand like the other books on your shelves.
We have contracted with LuLu.com to provide print, bindery and delivery services. You may find it cheaper per-copy to order with others, if possible, to save money with one shipping charge for several copies.
